Thursday Randoms

Going to be a hot one today. Ugh. Hope everything is going to stay cool. What is everyone up to today?

Re: Thursday Randoms

  • I'm going to call at 10 to see if I can get my hair cut after work today. I think I want to add layers and side-swept bangs..... my hair is down to my mid-back so if anyone has any inspiration pics I would love to see them. :)

  • I have been having such a hard time feeling awake this week!  This lingering nausea is not fun either!

I'm attending a wedding this Saturday, the reception is at San Chez.  Has anyone ever been to a reception there?  I bet it will be really nice, but I'm not looking forward to the tapas... there is such a limited amount of things that actually sound good to me at this point, I'm afraid I'm going to be really hungry!  (I might have to sneak out at some point for an appetizer at one of the nearby bars!)

Anniversary DS was born 11/30/12... so in love :)
  • We are going to a wedding this weekend where we have to drive an hour (each way) for the ceremony and then come back to a reception in a pole barn. It is supposed to be 90 some degrees on Saturday. I already feel sticky......

I'm definitely leaning this way (layers and long bangs) but want to keep my length.

I'm in the process of growing my hair out.  It sucks.  I hope I don't hate it too much by the end of the summer and chop it off.

  • I couldn't suggest anything for a hair cut. Mine is really curly and it's hard to come up with a style for mine. And I dare not cut it as much.

Bring some snacks with you or stop somewhere if you have time between the cermony and reception. When I was pg, I had to eat constantly, esp in the begining.  If we were going somewhere, I made sure to eat prior since their feeding schedule was out of my control.

Hopefully you will start feeling better soon. I think it took until about 16-18 weeks before I felt competely better.  For the second pregnacy, I took B6 and unisom at night. What a world of difference that made. I could have kicked myself for not doing it with DD1.

  • Cleaning my daughter's rooms today. One and a half down, one to go. E's was easy peasy, just a few clothes, toss the toys in a basket, good to go. S's is a little more difficult since her room was the toy room/room for all the crap we don't know what to do with before we moved her over.

My MIL just called me bawling because E called her and told her that we had no food in the house, and she was so so so hungry. She wanted to make sure we were ok, and not going without food. I told E earlier that we didn't have a lot of snacks, and no grocery money until next Tuesday. She has eaten today, cereal, hot dogs, popsicles.

  • Holy Hot Batman!!

I just received work that my BFF passed her physical training test and tomorrow has her written exam. She graduates next week.

P&P: Nice! SS did something like that but only complained on FB. There was food in the house just not the food he wanted.  Which just reminded me I didn't each lunch yet. oops
