I'm bored here at work! What's everyone up to?
I'm here at work for another 4 1/2 hours. I'll probably be researching some more on the list of digital cameras I have picked out. Large task!

Re: Boring Thursday!
I hated that when I worked retail! DH hates those shifts as well! His days/nights are all messed up because most the time he doesn't go to work until 3pm or 4pm.

Let me know which camera you decide!
Right now, I'm reading through my cousins facebook page. She has 4 kids - ranging from 5 years - 1month. Since you're bored, let me give you a glimpse into her day.. I'll copy & paste some of her statuses.
I don't want to put names on here... so here's a list, oldest to youngest
( J - P - L - M )
L climbed on top of a toy tonight so that she could then jump onto the changing table and land on M. As if jumping on her, squishing and laying on her weren't enough, she had her feet (and shoes) on her head and was kicking. My poor baby is never going to survive the L Monster.
(husband) got home late tonight after we had already had dinner. (Husband) walked into the office, J said "we have already eaten dinner, but don't get your hopes up, it wasn't the best dinner she has ever made. Really, don't get too excited, it wasn't that good."
L spilled P's milk tonight at dinner, then climbed on top of the table when I went to get a towel to clean it up. When I got back she was treating the table like a slip and slide and looked so pleased with herself.
L just pulled a chair to the counter, climbed into the sink, turned the water on and then grabbed the dish soap. Maybe I should let her start bathing herself.
Tonight's adventures with L. Keep in mind all of the following events took place in a short 1 1/2 hrs in between (husband) leaving for softball and bedtime. I was trying to get J started on his homework when P rushes in and says that L is standing in the toilet. I hurry to the bathroom to find that she isn't in there. P says "no she is upstairs standing in the toilet...". She had taken down the gate and gone upstairs. Sure enough I found her fully dressed, shoes and all standing in the toilet. I brought her downstairs undressed her and gave her and P a bath. When I got them out of the bath I asked P to let the water out. I spent about 20 minutes wrestling and fighting with L to get her diapered and in her pjs. She then ran away from me, ran away and dove head first back into the full bathtub. I then had to change her and start all over. When I returned from helping J get in the shower I found that she had pulled the drawers of the entertainment center out and used them as stairs to get to the glass shelves which she used to get to the bowl of candy on top of the TV. She helped herself to some Hershey kisses (foil and all) but decided that because she was all messy then that she would be helpful and clean herself up. She then got the wipes container out and pulled out every single wipe for the second time in less than a week. At this point I decided I needed to put her to bed early for her safety and my sanity. While reading her a bedtime story I notice that she is eating some licorice. I have no idea where she got it or how long it had been wherever it was that she found it. Needless to say, I am exhausted. Yes, that was long.. but I just think those kids are halarious! I don't know how she keeps her sanity.. she's a saint!! And since you said I was bored & they were on my mind I thought I'd share.TTC since March 2012

Just sitting doing a bunch of nothing. Slept in and feeling better then yesterday and waiting on a package from Amazon.
It's another hot day 99 and feels like 113. Thankfully our ac got fixed yesterday.
That sucks. It's been in the upper 90s in NOLA and our a/c has been running non-stop and it only cools the house down to about 75. I actually look forward to going back to work tomorrow night because it's always freezing in the hospital.
I have so much work to do before I'm off next Mon - Wed that I'm just trying to bust through it all.
When I worked part-time I hated not having work in the morning. I used to take yoga classes or plan other things, otherwise I'd never get out of bed and just be lazy until it was time for work. Drove me nuts!

I'll let you know what camera I decide to go with! There's sooo many out there! I know I'm going to get one that has a good shutter speed and has a good optical zoom. Megapixels won't matter tooo much because I was told by friend whose a photographer, you don't need a ton of Megapixels. I also thing I want a camera that is powered by a battery pack and not AA batteries.
A couple that is catching my eye right now are:
As you can see - I still have a lot more deciding to do :-)

Bolded is true unless you plan on printing photos very large. More megapixels the larger one can print. There of course are other factors but this is a basic way to judge what you really need. I have heard nothing but good things about the CoolPix.
Edit: Obviously TN doesn't like me because bolded isn't bolded. I have to get used to using firefox again.
