House Update

After talking to a realtor about listing our house and looking at possibly moving back to Anne Arundel County, we've decided to stick with the townhouse for 2-3 more years. DH and I moved to Harford County in 2006 right before we were married and really I can't see myself moving away from this area. I love how close we are to Baltimore, White Marsh, PA and I really see us raising our girls here.

We looked at several listings for the AA CO area, and I wasn't happy with downsizing to a smaller house in our desired neighborhoods. For the same price in AACo we can get a much bigger house in Harford County. Plus we have made lots of really good friends in our six years in the area, and I can't see leaving them behind.

Our realtor did suggest we update the paint in the basement (which is what DH is doing this weekend) and maybe update the paint in the half bath. We bought our townhouse and it's pretty much the only house on our street that is the entry level house with only 1.5 bathrooms. We really like to add a second full bath to the basement. We have two big dogs, who tend to get muddy, so it would be prefect to just send them to the bathroom in the basement, instead of trucking them upstairs.

And I'll just ignore and deal with our sh!tty neighbors as best as I can.

Re: House Update

  • What about just looking for a SFH in Harford County?

At the moment we can't afford to buy a SFH in Harford County and keep the girls in Daycare. If we moved back to AACo, our family was going to watch for free.

Plus we wouldn't really make any money off of our TH, we would either break even or lose money. Sad

Ah, gotcha. Sorry! Hopefully the evil neighbor moves away or something soon!

She's going to jail soon! Okay that's my wish! She's going to court soon, so let's hope our justice system works.
