Just got the clear to close - now what?
We received the mortgage commitment letter on Tuesday and our broker just emailed me and the attorney handling the closing and said that our loan has been cleared to close. Are there any other next steps that we need to be worried about? We're not closing until August 24th because the sellers wanted a long closing to try and give themselves time to find a place without having to resort to moving into temp housing.

Sounds like it's time to get packing!! I'd also request that your agent request a final walk-through before closing to reaffirm the house is still in the condition you offered on it.
