I may never do another home reno

DH is taking out the old tile and carpet. The carpet in itself is just gross with hair and dirt. It's amazing what's even under the pad. And I thought I was good about vacuuming. I don't want to have carpet in a house ever again.

The grinding of the old mortar from the tile has created a three inch layer of dust everywhere. I am going to be cleaning for months trying to get rid of it all. Sooooo anyone wanna recommend a cleaning person?

  • Ew, I can only imagine what it would look like under our carpet. Ick!

Atleast when it's all done you will have beautiful floors. Did you decide to go with the ceramic wood tiles or hardwood?

  • Clean it yourself. I tried cleaning people and they just never did a very good job. The only way I could make sure all the dust and grime were gone was to do it myself.

We are gonna do the wood tile. I think it will work best for us. I think we would damage the heck out of hardwood.

Let me know how it turns out. That's what we are thinking about using also.

Ugh. I don't even know where to start. I've started to wipe everything down but it's so grimy. Concrete dust is not my friend!
