So I just got an e-mail from a girl I sold some wedding items to. She said she never got the package and asked for the tracking number. I looked the tracking number up, and it says that the package was delivered on June 23rd (almost a week ago).
I feel kind of bad, I sent her the tracking number & told her to contact the post office...but isn't that the point of me buying to tracking number? To ensure it got delivered, and "proof" that it got delivered if the buyer trys to con me into giving them their money back?
I just sent her the tracking number so it's too soon to have heard back. I guess WWYD in this situation? I don't feel like I should have to refund her money when I have proof it was delivered...
Re: USPS help?
That's a post office problem and not something you could have done something about. I don't see how you would need to refund her money.
Now if I was her I would contact the post office or go up there in person and talk to someone to see if they can help. I really don't know what to tell her.
