LBI or OBX?
We take a nice long beach vacation every year right after labor day and usually do LBI. Last year was SO fun with DS. Im really looking forward to it again this year and making it a family tradition. We rented bikes with a little trailer for him and he just loved it.
But DH really wants to try OBX. I know the drive is like 10 hours, but we can just do it overnight while D sleeps, so thats not the issue. Has anyone been both places? Do they compare? Is OBX worth the extra 8 hours in the car? Are there attractions and fun things to do and nice places to eat, Or just beach?
The rentals are dirt cheap that time of the year out there.
