does anything actually work?
Re: stretch marks
I used oil to try to prevent them but still got a few at around 37 weeks. I used lotion after. They've since faded but im not sure if the lotion had anything to do with that.
Where did you get the Stivectin?
I got mine at TJMaxx--you can also get at Marshalls and the like right now. They recently changed the formula, so you can get close-out of the original. It's so expensive, I'm not personally willing to pay full price.
But also Sephora, Amazon, all the usual suspects. http://www.sephora.com/search/search.jsp?keyword=strivectin&_requestid=81784
I'm not certain you can use it while pregnant--I'd wait until after you deliver and check with the doctor.
I've also been using the eye cream and have not been very impressed.
Liquid form of Vitamin E. I burned the top of my hand horribly in high school, and rubbed in on the burn. Barely a scar! I've been rubbing it on my thigh stretch marks, and they're going away. I have to make sure to get some that doesn't smell like old woman, but either way, it works!
You can find Vitamin E at your grocery store, Walmart, or Target.
Hmmm, well I guess it's just a trial and error process from here. The tummy butter SEEMS to be lightening them a little, but I might just be overly hopeful. But I'll definitely try the BioOil and Vitamin E. I'm not even sure if there's a TJMaxx anywhere close to here though, so I'll look online.
Thanks for all the suggestions, guys
