Hey ladies!
I know I'm NEVER on here anymore so please don't think I'm trying to be spammy... I just know there are a lot of hobbyist photographers on this board (or maybe you know of someone). 10-12 photographers from my LifeChurch.tv-based photography networking group formed PhotoLife Conferences... We're putting on a beginner's photography workshop on July 21st at MACU to teach budding photographer's with a DSLR how to shoot in Manual mode (among other things.)
Instructors are Creel MacFarland of Limerick Studio in Edmond and Robert Trawick of Trawick Images in OKC.
It's limited to 75 students and we're assuming it will be mainly women attending- lunch is included in the cost (Chick-Fil-A... YUM!) and there will be plenty of giveaways, swag bags and a HUGE discount for the BIG conference in September. (Have you guys heard of Tara Lokey, the big wedding photographer here in OKC? Yeah SHE is going to be an instructor at that conference... I for one will be front and center for that! haha)

Is this something that would interest any of you?
Feel free to e-mail me at jamie (at) studiowestway (dot) com if you have any questions!
Re: Those of you with "big cameras"...
