Holy Heat Wave!
Wow this heat is getting crazy.
On top of that, we got rocked by a killer wind/lightening storm this weekend. Thankfully, we only lost power for ~24 hours, but a lot of people around VA are still without AC. Hoping everyone is doing okay out there and that this heat backs off a little bit to make things a little easier on those without power!

I have family in MD and they are still without power. Four trees took out their deck and my goddaughters' water table (LOL). Thankfully everyone is ok.
And the heat is just unbearable here in NOLA too. It's the main reason I stay in the pool on my off days.
It is crazy hot. We were setting up our tent for camping Friday night during that crazy storm that blew through the East. We didn't realize it until the alert expired, but they had issued a Tornado Warning for our area. We were so busy getting the tents up that we didn't see the alerts on our phones.
I am so sad for CO residents. The photos are devastating.
