On my tummy. And it HUUUUUUUUURTS like a beyatch. That area of my stomach is huge, red, and poofy. AND ITCHY OMG. I have been taking benadryl and that hasn't helped at all. I considered going to the doctor, but one of my friends is a nurse and on Saturday she was laughing about someone coming to the ER for a bee sting. The doctor wanted to prescribe him vagisil. So, now I am too embarrassed to go to the doctor. IT HURTS!!!!!!!!!!!!
Re: A bee stung me
What did you do to get stung? Did you piss it off? I am seriously terrified of bees and wasps. I run and scream like a baby when I see one.
Have you been stung before? Did you react this way?
I hate bees. I've only been stung one time and that was enjoy for me. Have you tried taking some tylenol atleast for the pain? Maybe tonight put a cold compress on it to bring down the swelling. I hope it gets better.
We had 2 huge wasps in our backyard yesterday and I wouldn't let M go out there because I was afraid they were going to sting her. I really hate anything that can sting me. I seriously squeal and start swinging my arms in the air.
No freaking clue!! I was reading a book outside, hopped up, got into the pool and ARRRRRGGGHHHHH! I screamed - it didn't hurt, just scared the bejesus out of me. Not even sure where he came from! He ended up in the water, DH and his friend killed it but the stinger thing was still in my stomach. DH pulled it out - that was the worst. It hurts more now than when I was initially stung, I can tell you that.
I wonder if he wasn't on my stomach when I was reading and I didn't notice, then when I got into the pool, *I* scared *him* and he stung me. No clue. I put some ice on it after it happened but now it looks so gross and really hurts. Overall, bees are really nice, but they will sting you if you irritate them - it is just a defense mechanism. Don't swat at them or holler around when you see them because that freaks them out. Getting them wet also freaks them out, apparently.
As far as I know this is my first time to be stung.
LOL LOL LOL> I was like - wtf going on with that post!!!!! Great, thank you, I do plan to go to the doctor tomorrow because now a portion of the sting is BLACK. Yes, BLACK. I am thinking we didn't get all of the stinger out and the doctor will have to dig it out. How special for me. Thanks for the advice, I might get some anyway just in case SD has some issues in the future. I like to be prepared.
