so what's everyone doing for the 4th?
No big plans, my parents are coming up to hang out. we're hoping to blow up the pool for the kids and grill some burgers & hot dogs, but it looks like we might have to see what the weather is doing (40% chance of storms, boo!)
Anyone else have fun plans?
Re: so what's everyone doing for the 4th?
We are headed to my in-laws for a cook out and swimming. Hopefully the weather holds up, being cooped up in their house is torture!
Have a great 4th everyone!
We are going to my parents' house for a picnic. They have a pool, so that keeps the boys happy. My pap comes from Georgia, my aunt, uncle and cousins come in from State college, so it's always a fun time.
Dennis Bowman said this morning that none of the next few days with thunderstorms are going to be washouts...just chances of pop up storms.
Oh good!

Getting up early and waiting for the Comcast guy. Sounds thrilling doesn't it?
After that, no idea.
Laundry!
We are cooking out though and spending some time together as the three of us. My brother is having a party and Es family are going to Morraine but we just need a chill day at home.
I think we are just hanging out in the pool and grilling burgers and dogs too. I had a taste for deviled eggs.... so think I will make those. My mom might stop over.... but we are allworking the next day. So keeping low key. The people in our plan go nuts with fireworks. We are on top of a hill and can see those along with out one side Greensburg, out another Monroeville. So we have a good view of all.
Hard to believe it is the 4th of July already!!
I was hoping to at least get out of the apartment for awhile. Only having one car sucks because I can't take the boys to the library or park or anything during the day. So I really just want to get out....I don't care what we do.
But DH found out last night that Scyfy will be running a twilight zone marathone and now I don't think I'll be able to talk him out of the house. I get that he works outside the house 5 days a week and when he is home he just wants to chill at home but he NEVER seems to understand that I'm in this apartment with the boys because we are stuck here. There is no nearby bus transportation. Starting to wish we'd picked an apartment closer to a playground. I have wanted to watch some fireworks since memorial day...hopefully we at least manage that!
Packing up the POD that is being delivered sometime today!
We usually walk up to Brownsville Road for the parade, but with a concert tonight and the need to get things moving here I think we will have to skip it this year ; (
We have friends coming over in the afternoon with their kids, so we're grilling burgers/dogs with typical picnic sides, and swimming in the pool! A nice, relaxing day to be had!
Have fun everyone!
My three sons!
