Hair Dryer Recommendations
Please recommend a hairdryer for straightening naturally curly hair and managing frizz. I would also appreciate any recommendations for round brushes or straightening balms. I used Redken Straight for years and need to find something else. I don't like anything heavy or greasy. Thanks!
Re: Hair Dryer Recommendations
I recently just switched to a CHI dryer. It's an INVESTMENT, but I really do love it. I have naturally wavy/curly, frizzy hair. The faster you dry your hair, the less frizzy it will be. However, like I said... it's an INVESTMENT and I had to work up to getting one. The dryer than I had before my CHI (until it died... but it took almost 6 years before I noticed it wasn't as hot anymore) is the Conair Infiniti. And since I purchased mine, the Infiniti line has gotten better. Make sure that it's one of the Inifniti dryers, though... I'm not crazy about regular Conair.
As for styling products... I have used the Living Proof no frizz Nourishing Cream and love that. I have also tried some by Paul Mitchell, Fekkai, and PureOlogy... and I always go back to the Living Proof No Frizz. It's also silicone free.
