My girlfirends and I just signed up for a Color Run 5K. ?I am wondering if anyone else has done one of these. ?I am looking for tips. ?Did you wear sun glasses? ?Did the paint come out of your pants (should I not wear my favorite Lulu running pants)? ?Did you get paint all over your car on the way home? ?Anything else?

It is so fun! I did end in Atlanta back in March. the color is made of cornstarch and food grade coloring, so it's a dry powder that they throw at you. I didn't wear any sunglasses or bandana, and I was fine. It didn't bother my eyes, but I was sneezing the rainbow for a few days after. As far as the clothes go, my sports bra is still stained, and the shirt in the armpits. It seems that the areas where I was sweating was the only areas where the color didn't come out. At our race, they had a guy with a lawn blower blowing people off. Def have a large towel in the car t sit on, and bring a pair of shoes to change before driving home. Watch the seat belts, my is still stained pink from where it crossed my chest, and there is a smudge of purple on my visor next to my garage door opener.
Have fun doing it! It was so much fun.
