Favortie energy gels/tablets/beans/etc?
Last October I ran my first half, yeah!! (2:11:00!!) I did the training without using any energy gels. During the race, my running buddy gave me one of his to take. Smart, uh? Made me sick afterwards.
Now I'm training for my full, with my long runs about 9-10 miles now. I figure this would be a good time to experiement with gels so I can find ones that work well for me but not be running too far that it would be bad to get sick.
What are your suggestions? Any brands or types of energy supplier you swear by?

Gu worked for both me and my friend with a wheat allergy. I recommend the vanilla or chocolate flavored ones. Strawberry banana wasn't too bad either. If you close your eyes, you can imagine you're eating warm pudding/yogurt. Stay away from espresso and jet blackberry. Absolutely horrendous.
