restaurant review. trailhead cafe

first let me apologize for my lack of formatting.  my smartphone really does not cooperate with me posting.  it is frustrating.

i went to the new trailhead cafe on east paris today for the third time in a week.  it was fantastic again so i thought i would come and post my review here.  i am not affiliated with this place at all and do not know the owners or anyone who works there.  the food was really fresh and high quality and it is a small locally owned place.  they have what i consider high end salads and sandwiches that are really tasty.

they are in a strip mall near east paris and lake that has a bike shop and bill and pauls sport house.

everything i have gotten... and my husband and toddler have gotten has been great.  i particularly recommend the cali ruben which has turkey avocado slaw and an addictive sweet chili sauce or the michigan salad which has amazing pecan crusted chicken breast in it... or the blta which is a heaping blt with a lot of fresh ripe avocado in it...  ok... i will stop.

in any case if you like sandwiches or salads that are a bit on the gourmet side and like really fresh high quality ingredients... and dont mind paying a little more for it this place is ideal.  a sandwich and side will run you in the 9 dollar range.  same for salads.  to me it is worth it.

just thought i would toss out my 2 cents.  always like to see a nice local restaurant succeed.

oh... very casual. nice coffee shop style decor with bicycles. pics of mountain biking trails. light fixtures made with bike wheels but pretty.  hard to describe.  this place would be right at home in colorado.
