Yesterday I went for an interview at a job where I thought I applied for a middle school language arts position. When I was called by the secratary she did not say what position it was for so I assumed it was for middle school LA but in the interview they told me it was for a part-time technology position. (5 days a week, no benefits). I began freaking out inside, because I didn't prepare for an interview for a technology position. I don't even have a certification for technology. (I taught technology this past school year but it was only in a Catholic school and they didn't care if I held the certification.) They must know I don't have the cert because my resume states that I am certified in elementary and middle school language arts.
The interview went so-so (or so I thought) It would have gone a lot better if I was prepared for it. I was just caught off guard but ran with it.
Then, four hours after the interview I got a call from the principal and asked me to come in for another interview. This time I have to teach a demo lesson to 4th graders. I can't believe he wants me back!
