Married the love of my life on 1-21-12. Our princess arrived on 5-28-13.

DH and I went to his parents to visit. This morning his mom and I went grocery shopping and got everything needed for a last minute picnic. I made brownies for desert. I got to see my nephews and they couldn't stop telling me how much they loved the brownies I made. It was great fun spending time with family.
Unfortunately, DH works tonight. I got back home at 7pm and will be spending the rest of the night at home. We are hoping there might be a fireworks show or something this weekend we can catch.
I just want to say it's really sad that today was a national holiday and so many people had to work because their businesses were open.
Had a great 4th though...:)
I work in assisted living, we are 24/7, no need to be sad about that!

I can understand hospitals and such, but it's amazing how many restaurants and such are open.
Holidays used to be sacred. Now even black Friday starts on Thanksgiving just so some stores can be first. Forget people spending time with their families.
