Area hotels with outdoor pools??
Do they exist in MD? THinking of a staycation but wanting a hotel with an outdoor pool, preferably a Hilton property.
Re: Area hotels with outdoor pools??
Someone's getting a little brother!
This might be the winner. we want something close enough that we can come home and take care of the dogs but want to use the pool.
This would be more ideal because its closer. i may have to look into rates.
Doubletree offers a good government rate, just waiting to hear back from DH to decide when/if too book.
I don't understand why our YMCA's dont have outdoor pools
I don't know about costs, etc., but I would choose this over DoubleTree. I've never stayed at either, but I've been to both for work events, plus I've eaten at the restaurant at the Hotel at Arundel Preserve. It's new, it's really really nice, and the attached restaurant is good. Plus, there's that new casino there with about 5 new restaurants, if that's something you might be interested in.

I know all about the casino but the purpose of the hotel is strictly for the outdoor pool. I've got a 6 year old and she can't go to the casino. I propose someone open a drop in babysitting business near the casino for those of us without regular babysitters!
Also not sure if you want to do any touristy things but there is a pirate boat cruise out of Annapolis. My SIL took her son a while back and they had a great time.
http://www.chesapeakepirates.com/welcomeaboard/welcome.htmlFunny you mention this, we were recently in CLearwater and went on a pirate cruise and there was a family from DC and they asked if we had ever done the pirate cruise in annapolis, had no idea there was a pirate cruise there.
Thanks for the link
Glad you had a good time!
