Has anyone seen any tankini's anywhere? Toddler sizes?
3T one pieces are too short for Brinley's torso, and 4T's are baggy around the butt/legs. I've seen bikini's at most stores, but I don't really like bikini's on little girls.
Currently she's been wearing her 2T tankini, but with as much swimming and sprinklering we've been doing I need a back up!
Re: Tankini's, 3T size
We got a tankini at lands end last year. I got regular size 4 and was just a tiny bit big (but a few stitches to bring it in and it was perfect). It held up really well and can still use it this year. Lands end swimsuits are great (I have a few myself). And her suit was adorable.
Dd also has a rash guard top and seperate bottoms from Disney store. Target usually has some rash guard top suits as well if you would go for those
Dd has a long torso so I can't really get her 1 pieces and I don't like bikinis either!
I didn't know Lands End had such cute stuff for kids! I have one of their suits and love it.
Their kids clothes are super cute, my mom buys my nephew a lot of things from there. Plus they have a great return policy. It doesn't hurt that the LE Inlet at Sears in Ross Park is huge and they usually have really great sales.
Yes they have really cute kid stuff! I got her suit at an inlet and it was pretty reasonable. I've gotten her an adorable coat there before too. Both have held up very well after tons of use.
I always forget about Old Navy too! I hope they have some stuff left. It's crazy that July is "late" for swim suits.
I think an online order may be more of a guarantee of finding something at this point in time. I generally get my stuff from t hem within 4 days with standard shipping.
Children's Place has some really cute ones. My 3 year old is pretty slender and the 3t fit her soooo nice. The bottoms have elastic around the leg holes which is nice because it really hugs her skinny butt/legs.
I tried to pull it up online but it looks like they've sold out. Booo.
Disney store online has some too. Just got DD one there the other week.... they had free shipping yesterday.
