Re: Fitness Friday

  • This week: I didn't do much of anything because the gym was closed due to a power outage. However, this morning as I was training my client (I do personal training with an older woman twice a week) I worked out with her because we did aquasize in her pool. It felt great!

    My goals for next week:  Go for a bike ride on Monday or Tuesday because it is supposed to be cool. (In the upper 70's!)

    -Go to the gym three times (at least) and do weights and at least 25 minutes on the crosstrainer.

    -No fast food or take out at all. I will cook all my meals at home.

    My favorite workout routine is:  Weight training for legs and sholders and then the crosstrainer--or an outside bike ride if it is cool.

  • How did you do this week?

    Meh, I lost .2 from last week but I'm almost 100% positive that I gained that back at dinner after I weighed in, whoops.

    What are your goals for the next week?

    Track all my food (this is going to be hard) and walk at least 4 times this week.

    What is your favorite workout routine?

    I love, love, love using an eliptical!

  • How did you do this week?  - Not so great.  With the holiday in the middle of the week and other exciting news, I didn't work out at all.

    What are your goals for the next week?  My goals for next week are to work out at least twice if not three time. (my usual goal.)  And to figure out new meals since I can no longer have lunch meat which is what my dinner usually consists of three nights a week. 

    What is your favorite workout routine?  I love Zumba but haven't been able to find a class lately that works with my schedule.  Second favorite is the elliptical.

  • How did you do this week?

    I'm down to 244.8 lbs as of writing this!  I was down to 243 on Wednesday, but the wife insisted that I was going to eat enough at lunch to make up for missing breakfast since we slept in.  Then we ended up having dinner at Applebees.  Could have made smarter choices there. Sad

     

    What are your goals for the next week?

    Lose more weight!  14 more pounds!

     

    What is your favorite workout routine?

    Can't say that I have a favorite.  I do spend a lot of time on the elliptical due to the high calorie burn.  Like my friend says "If you don't fear your workout, you're not working out hard enough."
