The hubs and I have given up on the whole sectional idea. We actually went to Ethan Allen and still haven't recovered from the price tag of a tufted sectional with nail head trim! We're pretty much left with these three options below because our current couch needs to go back to my brother-in-law at the beginning of August. Nothing like procrastinating to the very last minute.
We've narrowed it down to three options: All three are from Z Gallerie and all three are made in the USA.
Pros: nail head trim, grey, clean lines, price ($1299)
Cons: only 80 inches wide so it's not a very big sofa

Pros: tufted and attached back, one seat cushion,
Cons: only 84 inches wide, no nail head trim

Pros: tufted back cushions, size (beast is 98 inches wide!), clean lines
Con: color is a very dark grey with a slight green tint to it, no nail head trim

Re: Couch poll: Oh yes, I still haven't bought one!
Just my opinion.
are these decorative items or for comfort?

A bit of both! It's going to be in our living room and we plan to have that room more polished than the man cave. We watch tv for comfort in the man cave.

3 I love...but for me they wouldn't be practical. I can live vicariously through your couch purchase!
Just an idea to thikn long term too. I know you aren't near getting PG/adopting soon, but you might want to think ahead to what may be more practical w/ a kid/toddler plus dogs. I'd go for darker and more washable.
