Animal Chiropractics?

Hi everyone! We just got sad news yesterday that our dog has a subluxation (sp?) in his spine that may lead to surgery. Right now we are treating with meds and lots of rest. The doctor also noticed an inflamed prostate, which is troubling because my dog is neutered. We are treating that with antibiotics in hopes that it clears up; otherwise, signs likely point to cancer. I'm just seeking advice from anyone who has had similar experiences. Have you tried an animal chiropractor? What were your thoughts? Also, anyone have a neutered pet with a large prostate due to infection rather than cancer?

I'm really worried because I don't want to lose my guy and am trying to make the best decisions for him. TIA!!

Re: Animal Chiropractics?

  • I bought my cat to an animal chiropractor once. He seemed a little better but I decided I couldn't afford to bring him back for several weeks as suggested by the chiropractor.
