weekly book post

Re: weekly book post

  • I just started reading The Undomesticated Goddess by Sophie Kinsella. It is good so far.  I wanted to read another Sophie Kinsella book since I recently read Can You Keep A Secret?

  • Im attempting to finish up Baby Proof but its been not successful lol
  • I just started Voyager.  It is the 3rd book in the Outlander series.  It is wicked long (over 1000 pages) but I thought summer would be a good time to tackle it.  I hope I can focus to get through it.  I don't seem to have as long an attention span as I am used to.

  • I finished 11/22/63 by Stephen King. I really liked it! It was long, but not at all boring.

If you haven't heard about it, it's about a guy who finds a window to 1958 and gets convinced to go back in time to stop the assassination of JFK. It's kinda historical fictiony, but also pretty suspenseful and a love story, too. I'd definitely recommend it!

  • I am currently trying to finish up Fifty Shades Freed, and I also started Then Came You by Jennifer Weiner. I just took a bunch of books out from the library because there doesn't seem to be anything good for rental available for my nook. I also have a James Patterson, & the latest John Grisham. I don't know when I think I have time for all this reading between work & the kids, lol!

My hubby is reading this! He loves Stephen King.

I'm working on two books at the moment: 50 Shades of Grey (because I want to see what all the fuss is about), and War and Peace.

  • I just finished 50 Shades Freed and have started reading Mindy Kaling's book. It's a pretty short and I've heard a fairly easy and enjoyable read
