Anyone ever take Cipro for bladder infection? Does it affect your period?
This was the first time I ever had a bladder infection. The Doctor prescribed me Cipro. 3 pills every day for 2 days. I took the pills and I thought I was fine. I am also on birth control, and didn't have sex while on it because I didn't want to get pregnant. I got my period a few days later, as I was supposed to. Im on Loesterin24 and have been on this for 7 years. Throughout these past 7 years on it, I've never had my period for more than 3 days, and it has been so light that I never used more than a light tampon. It's been over a week now and I'm still on my period, and it is much heavier than I've ever had it, and the cramps are awful. Changing super tampons every 2-3 hours. Could this be because of Cipro?
