*GIRLS TRIP* Rec an All-Inclusive!!

My girl friends and I have never taken a vacation together- so we're planning one for next summer!!

We'd like 4 nights at an AI, including airfare from PHL to be under 1k (b/w 700-800 is ideal)

Most important is a beach, pool, open bars and food and maybe some nightlife (not necessary though).  We really just want a relaxing and fun vacation...

I'm not sure which resorts are best for this- since it's all girls.

TIA!!!

Re: *GIRLS TRIP* Rec an All-Inclusive!!

  • Going on a girls trip in a few weeks and we had similar requirements.  We're going to The Royal Playa del Carmen - adults only, all inclusive, and very close to downtown Playa.  I've stayed at their Cancun hotel and loved it, so I'm hoping to have a similar experience.

  • The royal would be nice for that (we honeymooned there) since its close to nightlife if you want it. Our only complaint there was that there wasn't anything to do at night on the resort...it felt like everything shut down early. It also may be out of your price requirement.

We have gone to the Valentin imperial maya the last two years and have had a great time and it's cheaper. Lots of groups there and something going on all the time. They also have a band and then a dj every night plus a lounge and a sports bar, so there is always something to do at night. The pool is a lot like a Vegas pool to me. Lots of drinks all around and music

  • Sorry, hit post too soon.

Music, drinks, and a lot of groups so a party atmosphere. This is the main pool.. There are also two quieter pools. We have really enjoyed the vim and will go back again. The price also can't be beat for te experience and it's all adults.

    Have fun on your trip!!

  • Look into the Grand Palladium Jamaica. It is 45 minutes from the airport and HUGE. It has multple beaches. Only a few are good to swim in but one is a cove and it absolutely beautiful. The infinity pool there is HUGE with a swim up bar. There are other pools as well. Some activities such as snorkeling and kayaking are included. There are multiple restuarants with good food and good drinks. The rooms are very nice as well. Palladiumaddict.net is a great resource as well.
  • Ditto the recommendation for Valentin Imperial Maya. We just went in May with a few friends and had a fun time. We saw lots of groups there. We met quite a few people at the pool, there was a DJ, and we spent the whole time going between the two swim-up bars. After dinner, we always went to the sports bar for a little bit. A few nights there was also a DJ in the plaza and people danced.
