I am back at work and being logged on FB is not encouraged so I might be able to reconnect on here. Anyone around? I think I will plan a GTG soon, if anyone is interested.

i keep checking every day but as you can see from my posts below, I've given up. I "see" the old regulars on FB all the time, but no one has been around these parts in a while. I'm happy to stay and chat with you though! Maybe everyone else will come back if they see life on this board again!

The nest killed our board which was already on life support as it is..
Yes, I am back at work and happy to be back. I mean I miss Brett every minute of the day but I felt like I was losing 'me' if that makes any sense. I needed to be in a productive setting and get back to some routine. Hats off to SAHMs. I don't think I could do it for any long period. Brett is so big now and he is smiling, laughing, trying to hold conversations and has such personality. I think from 2.5months onward is when I started actually enjoying motherhood. Before then, I think I was going crazy, literally.
My mom is home with him for the next 3.5 months and then he's off to daycare. I am hoping everything goes well with daycare because I feel so comfi knowing that my mom is with him during the day.
So, how are you, Mrs. Kocal? You have such an active life, you make the rest of us look bad.
I want to try to get back into some fun activities/hobbies soon myself once we get into a routine finally.

i totally understand what you mean about needing to go to work for yourself. I don't think I could ever be a SAHM either, my career is too much a part of my identity and I would feel like something was missing if I gave it up.
I'm good, busy busy as usual. The bar exam is coming up and I have been working with my students non-stop, so I'm looking forward to the end of july when it is all over! i haven't had much of a break at all even though the summer is the slow time for everyone else here.
