Jillian Michaels Ripped in 30

Hi all,

I'm on the third week of Ripped in 30 by Jillian Michaels and have had NO weight loss.

This is actually my second time on the third week, I went on vacation in the middle of the first cycle and started all over again after taking a week off.

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone else experienced these results (or lack of results) ? I'm just hoping that I'll see some changes soon !

I have seen results on my measurements but some days I'll look real thick and other days I'll look fine.. I'm starting to lose motivation :(

  • I haven't used the ripped workout, but I had no weight loss after the 30 day shred.  You should keep measuring yourself (I heard from other people that they lost inches, but not pounds... I didn't measure, so I don't know).  I was definitely stronger after the month.  I think the shred mainly works muscles, but doesn't necessarily burn calories...(ripped seems similar?) You may need to add some cardio to burn off whatever fat/water is hiding your muscles.  Are you following her diet (I didn't, and I'm wondering if it's worth trying)?
  • I did 30DS and RI30, and didn't really lose weight but lose inches, also.  I think that's how it's designed.  I use it more for toning, not dropping pounds.  If you want to drop pounds you have to add more cardio than what her videos have in them. 

    As for her diet....I printed everything out, but a lot of her recipes I couldn't do, especially lunch, because I can't cook my lunch. I'd have to bring it to work, and the fridge at work is a biohazard, so I don't put anything in there.  Also I'm a bit of a pickier eater, so there were things she suggested that I wouldn't eat.

    I had more success with the 17 Day Diet. 

  • I'm on week 5 of Body Revolution and haven't lost an ounce.  I haven't measured, but I certainly notice a difference in the way my body looks.
