Experience with Animal Reiki?
My friend does animal reiki, and has offered to so some sessions with my dog, who is very anxious, to the point of exhibiting misplaced aggression when she becomes agitated by strange dogs, squirrels, unusual sounds outside, etc. We've worked with a behaviorist and she takes Elavil 3 times each day. My friend advises that a few sessions of reiki will begin to calm her, so I figure it's worth a shot. Does anyone have any experience with reiki for dogs? If so, what were the results? Thank you!!

The shelter where I volunteer had some reiki students come in a few times a month.
They had (what I considered) crazy claims that they could ease pain, "realign" stuff, etc. -- that stuff I don't believe.
But after sitting with the dogs for about 20 minutes, the dogs did seem calmer, more relaxed. And in the shelter, that's saying something. It's a very stressful place.
