I called my mom to check in ...

And so far, shes cleaned my microwave, stove, dishes and folded my laundry.

So next time I complain I need to remember this!  She asked if I needed anything else done and I said no, just to play with H, but my confession is I may be making a list for tommorrow.

  • I'm glad you were able to find a middle ground and you're both feeling good about the situation. I think grandma daycare is a wonderful thing when it clicks.
  • Why are moms so awesome at cleaning stoves!?! I swear, our stove never looks better than when my mom does it. I thought it might be a gift you receive once you have a kid, but apparently not.

BTW SO true!! I have no stove cleaning ability at all but my mom is amazing when she does it. My poor kids. Hopefully I'll improve with age.

One of the reasons I bought an induction cooktop was because it's so much easier to clean. The other reason is the fact that it's never so hot I can't touch it, even right after removing a pot, so the kids won't get burned on it.
