Tuesday Randoms
Happy Tuesday all!
Our deck is being rebuilt today! The old one was in pretty rough shape because no one took care of it in the last 10 years since it was built. They have been out there banging away since 7am and Hannah is still sleeping!! Looking forward to a new deck that doesn't have nails we have to worry about sticking up and rails that are good and sturdy!
Hope everyone is enjoying the cooler weather! I was so excited to open the windows on Sunday evening and finally get some fresh air in the house.

Yeah, our deck is pretty bad too. We just haven't had the money to replace it with other things going on (latest was furnace/AC). Maybe next year......
DH & I had plans to build a deck off the dinning room at our house. Maybe the next house will have a nice deck.
I couldn't sleep last night. I got maybe 3.5 hours of sleeps. My mind just wouldn't shut off.
The heat did allow me to finish 3 book in the last week. Downside now is that I'm waiting for books to come in to the library off my hold list and nothing is in transit. 10 book limit just isn't enough for me.
It's Tuesday - another day closer to Friday. I found out the other night that my friend's sister took her own life. This is the 2nd of 2 people from our high school that has done it within the last 2 months. It really bothers me because I dealt with it with my bf did it 11 years ago and it's bringing up those feelings.

Exactly! Thank you. Ugh. It's getting so old. I'm so sick of hearing about it. I can't wait for everything to come out in the open so everyone can move on.
Ok well now you gotta fill us in! I'm dying to know what is so important that his boss feels it is ok to monitor his phone calls!

Deck is almost complete! It looks so much better. There were plenty of things that I would have rather spent the money on but it really just wasn't safe anymore, especially to have Hannah out on.
Charity - sorry to hear about your friend's sister. A death is never easy but I think suicide is even harder on the "survivors" as they are left with so many questions.
TW - hope your H's office drama ends soon. That can get old.
Yeah I feel sorry for the families involved. I just got told by my aunt that I create drama and look for attention. She told me to get over the suicide of my bf that died a "third of my life" ago.
Aw, I hope the little guy gets some relief. Ouch.
I can't help but laugh at toddlers overusing of the word no. I like to set Henry up to say no to things he would otherwise say yes to. It amuses me.
During Mass on Sunday, our priest was giving his homily sternly and said "No! No! No!" and then Henry echoed quite loudly "No! No! No!" The 4-5 pews in front of us thought is was quite funny, thankfully.
Yeah, it will be interesting to see what happens on Friday.
Work for me is ok. We're much slower, but that means I'm bored. Boss is ok. We don't interact nearly as much as we used to. It's not uncommon for me to go an entire day without seeing her. I feel a like my job here has gotten "stale", but benefits, hours, and dress code are good, so I would have a hard time finding something I would like better for the money. I'll probably work here until we have baby #2, then we'll evaluate how worth it it is for me to continue working with daycare prices.
BabyWop is cutting two top teeth. She's been clingy and whiney through the night lately. I feel bad. Poor babe. That reminds me I need more infant tylenol for her.
That's an extremely insensitive thing to say.
My BF died of natural causes about half of my life ago and it still comes back to bite me sometime. Grief just doesn't go away and when it is suicide I think it lingers in a different way. It is too bad that many people are so scared of grief & hurting that they can't figure out how to be supportive.
