Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Late gift...
H's mom asked (forced) me to invite her cousin from Canada, who she doesn't see all that much to the wedding. I knew that since we had received some no's that this was going to be ok. She told the cousin that I didn't have his address and thats why the invite was so late (whatever, I went along with it to make her happy)
Well he asked to bring his (adult) daughter...so he didn't have to drive alone...fine, whatever.
Well neither of them brought us a card or anything whatsoever for the wedding, which I accepted and moved on from after being a little irritated...Well yesterday my Mom stopped by our house and brought us a small box from MIL's cousin!
It was a couple of kitchen knives, made in Canada, I guess I can always use another knife...but one of them had our names and wedding date engraved onto it, which I thought was really cool....
...and now I'm feeling silly for being irritated about him coming to the wedding, with an extra adult guest and nothing (not even a card) for us.

I was actually talking to MIL last night and she asked if we had received anything from two other people (1 person who was at the wedding and 1 who wasn't able to make it)
So far we haven't seen anything from them, but maybe we'll get some more surprises in the mail!
