Shoe repair recommendations?
Steve has several nice pairs of shoes he wants to get resoled. When I worked in Wash Co years ago, there was a great guy who could do it for $20 or so. I don't feel like driving that far for the repair, but the one place we priced downtown was charging $40, and the shoes are nice, but aren't worth the $40 to resole.
Anyone tried a shoe repair place they loved that was reasonable?
Re: Shoe repair recommendations?
Did you try the place on 5th by cardemones salon? Thats were I was going to recommend.
I use the guy in Northway Mall on the lower level by Petsmart.
I use a guy in Wexford - right in the area of Patron's - but I think that may be too far for you?
My three sons!
Kev had him fix a pair or two of shoes as well...
I've used him too.
My DH works downtown and I'll always send my heels with him to take to Joe. I have had heel bottoms put back on for $7, which is more than worth it in my book. And they have lasted longer than the original heel bottoms lasted. I always ruin them.
