MRI needed....I'm scared.

I just got a call from my ob-gyn with the results to my u/s. A 2.5 cm mass was found posterior to my uterus. She said it is very vascular. She's not sure what it is so she is referring me to an ob-gyn oncologist where they will do an MRI. I'm scared. I hope it's nothing, but what if it's cancer?

Married the love of my life on 1-21-12. Our princess arrived on 5-28-13.

  • You don't worry about it until it is something to worry about. The more positive you are, the better the outcome will be. Studies have actually proven that more positive people are more likely to survive.

This. I know its hard but try not to stress about what it may be. If it turns out to be something you will be in the right hands and will get the right treatment. Just take it one day at a time until you have your MRI and results.

  • Thanks everyone. I just hope I can have the MRI soon so I don't have to wait (and worry) too long.

I love this!!!  And completely agree.  Just wait and see what happens before stressing.  Easier said than done I know.  T&P with you!
