Tuesday Complaints/Irritations/Confessions/Etc
Complain or something!
I was up until after 3am this morning. My back hurt so bad I couldn't sleep. Thank goodness H helped me eat something so I could take a pain med. I woke up around 6:30am and called out of work for the day. I expected to relax and sleep all day today, but FIL decided to get rid of our old wall-unit air conditioner today (he's our landlord).
They always come over to "fix something" on a day I'm not working. I don't know why H told FIL he could come today since he knew I would be sleeping. So FIL spent all morning shaking the house, banging on the air conditioner, breaking it apart. He then left and came back to do it some more. Then BIL and SIL came over to help him pull it out of the wall. He just left again and will be back "later" to cover the hole in the wall.
I really wish he didn't have to make everything an all day process. I'm holed up at my desk now instead of on the couch resting so I'm out of the way when he feels like coming back AGAIN...

Oh man. I feel your pain.
This is totally unrelated but yesterday I was messing around on idelli (online flash sales) and saw one for Skinnygirl Shapewear. So I go looking at it, because it's owned by Bethenny Frankel and I kinda like her. Well the model wearing the shapewear is about 110 pounds and stick thin. This person clearly does not need shapewear. Why is she modeling it? I realize this is petty, but it really irritated me at the moment.
That sucks dude.
BIL and SIL are having the house power washed and painted and having woodwork/shingles replaced and it's been going on for over a week. One day, just as I was laying down for a nap, they started pounding right outside the bedroom window. Then when I went to put the kiddo down for his nap, they started banging right outside his window. Joy.
My other complaints are all work related, nothing new.
Oh, and MIL now friend requested me in FB and idk what to do. Oy.
H and I were total slackers over the weekend and we are going to pay for that every night this week...my brother is getting married Saturday and the reception is at our house and we did NOT get everything done we needed to have done!

FIL is back and somebody just called his cell phone so he's just standing in my living room talking ridiculously loud into the phone.
I'm glad my MIL has no desire to be on FB because I'm pretty sure I wouldn't add her and there'd be drama.
That blows. Maybe you'll be so sleepy by night you'll sleep like a rock.
Complaint- My messy place and being sick. Nothing new.
Irritation - That it is costing a crap ton of money to fix my car. The mechanic shop emailed me saying they never see cars come in that are needing so much work. Not my fault all the other places (including one major chain) only put band aid fixes on it and never solved the problem. The major chain company charged $$ to look at it and said nothing was wrong. I knew that was a load of bs. Well this was more of a complaint...well maybe a little of a complaint and a bit of an irritation.
Confession- I am in love with this season of the bachelorette. I am starting to get hooked on Game of Thrones. Is the next season here yet?
Both FIL & MIL are my fb friends. MIL is hardly on it and FIL is on all the time posting political stuff. So much so I had to hide his news feed. A fair amount of my fb friends are family. I find it the perfect way to stay in contact with very little effort.

Same here. I have both blocked from my news feed and restricted from everything except the 'about me' stuff. FIL is always posting something political and/or offensive. And I have BIL off my news feed as well for the same reasons. MIL couldn't work a computer to save her life. I've contemplated deleting them, but the headache isn't worth it.
As far as complaints or irritations, I have none yet, but then again, my day is just getting started...
I have some major complaints and irritations today....
Our scheduling person deleted all of my already approved vacation from September 1st through the end of the year without telling me and then left for the day. So now I have to re-request all of them which some of them are not in her approved window to ask for anymore. She didn't tell my manager she was deleting them either so he was quite confused when I called him super pi$$ed that all my vacation is now suddenly gone.
My direct boss still hasn't hired anyone to replace the person who left in May so we are now working 3 technicians down. (One left in May, one on maternity leave, and one quit Monday). And she refuses to do her own job so I get to spend all day cleaning up all the loose ends and trying to beg borrow and steal to get some extra help to cover some of the shifts that are open.
I'll go drink my margarita now. Maybe in a little while I'll feel better.
