Tara's post made me remember how fun it was to re-post some wedding pics when Crystal was asking about dresses a few weeks ago. Let's see your beautiful flowers ladies!
Re: PIP your wedding flowers
My bouquet:
And one of mine and the girls (black and white isn't the best for showing flowers, but the girls were all white/cream, so you get the idea!)
and why we took this photo I do not remember, but it shows all the bouquets really well! and our feet, if anyone needed to see them? lol
This is the only picture I have at work that shows my bouquet. It isn't the best picture, but I LOVED my feathers!

My bouquet
I'm going to PIP a ton b/c I was freakin' proud of my flowers. We DIY everything except for my bouquet (which I now realize would have been nbd, but we didn't want to stress about it in case it didn't work)!
First, my bouquet. BTW - we preserved it and it looks amazing still!
Next, bridesmaids bouquets wrapped with satin ribbon
Centerpieces - I loved the vases!
My uncle, believe it or not (who's a carpenter!), helped with these:
We lined the aisle with these pretty arrangements - then moved them into the reception room for the wall separating the dance floor and tables:
We ordered THOUSANDS of flowers from the flower mart, and even better, saved thousands
My manzanita placecard tree kicked butt too but I can't find a photo at the moment.
If I weren't a teacher, I think it would be fun to become a florist - although I'd rather make $$$ and rule the world I think!
Have you ever been to the flower mart? That place is amazing! Of course, I can't go down there without stopping for breakfast at the Pantry first!
And if your fella ever needs a ring, he really should check out the jewelry mart close by. Bill's jaw hit the floor when he realized how much jewelry stores mark up their merchandise (how many times I hinted to the guy for my engagement ring... poor boy didn't listen) - we used them for our wedding bands though!!!
You're not talking about the LA flower district are you?
Where is this jewelry mart? Do you find the quality is the same as regular jewelry store.
Yes, the LA flower district.
And the quality at the jewelry mart I have found is better than most of the stores at the mall. The bottom floor stands are crap, but if you go to the higher floors they have some beautiful pieces. We used bridal rings.com for Bill's ring (they have a store down there), and I happened to have a student that year whose dad owned a shop at the jewelry mart, so he designed and created my band.
One of my best friend's flowers - at her wedding
I loved her centerpieces

My girls had the same flowers, they were just white. I did all of my bouquets, boutineers, and centerpieces (how do you spell that word? Spell check won't fix it)
I was busy fixing bows right before I put on my dress
I love these posts
Best shot I have access to right now of my flowers

I know I'm late on this but I wanted to post anyway.
