Wow. It's dead here at work. Like half the people in our office are gone and the rest are hunkered down doing whatever. The internet seems dead too....:(
Anybody alive out there?
Re: *crickets*
That sounds like a great idea. Why is that a lost cause?
Married the love of my life on 1-21-12. Our princess arrived on 5-28-13.
Oh, Michelle, I do hope you get to go to one someday. Even as an adult it is still magical.
I was busy all day yesterday doing various things.
I guess because we were really trying to do it as a last minute add-on to the cruise we have scheduled. You know, one of those "Hey, we're already in Florida, let's drive up to Orlando and hit Disney!"
Um. Not so much. We're paying $1800 for the cruise, probably another $500-1000 on airfare (not sure yet as I'm not booking anything non-refundable until she gets travel clearance from USCIS), and right now I'm guessing about another $300 on hotels in Miami.
Tickets to Disney alone would be $350 for 2 DAYS!!!!! With hotel that comes to $600-700. And the rental car one-way to Orlando adds another $100. Haven't added up food yet.
Ironically, it's cheaper to spend 3 more days on the cruise ship where everything is included than to spend 2 days at Disney.
Also, keep in mind, in the next year we also have a family cruise with my parents scheduled in Sept and once dear wife gets authorization we're headed for Thailand.
