Vacation packing for an infant

We're going to an all inclusive in Mexico in a few weeks. What sort of things should I pack for Logan that I might not think of right away? I'm freaking out that I"m going to forget something. So far I have his beach tent and float ready to go. :)

  • I actually have a Word document of what I pack for Claire whenever we go to the IL's - want me to send it your way?
  • Gwen, that would be awesome! Thank you!

  • More sunscreen than you will ever think you'd need!  The first year we went to the beach with jake, I thought I had plenty of sunscreen, we were completely out by day 4 (and of course, it's all overpriced having to buy it at the beach).

  • Sarah - I sent it to your yahoo account. Let me know if you have any questions!!
  • My rule of thumb is @ lest 2 extra day clothes and 1 extra night time outfit per day! Randy says its over packing, but I proved him wrong when we were at camp for a week and a half and I ended up having to do laundry due to a few diaper explosions;) but we had enough!

  • Yogurt.  I have taken the simply yogurt by Gerber bc it doesn't need to be refrigerated.  Last summer for Punta Cana, I just gave B acidophilus itself.   I put B in full body swimwear by Sun Protection Zone and then just have to worry about her face, hands, and feet.  We apply cream in the morning then do the spray when we are in the sand/beach so it doesn't scratch if you try to rub.  We always take out own insulated large cups for the all-inclusive.  We use cloth swim diapers (Swimmis) so you don't underestimate how many you need and run out.

As many swimsuits/shirts as you can. I took four for each boy last month and due to rainy and damp weather they took forever to dry and even with 4 I had to put them into wet damp suits and they were not amused.
