Help me shop -- work bag
I'm looking for a bag for work that I could use to take grading home, permission slips/medical release forms/music for trips, and possibly a smallish laptop when we go on school trips. I don't even know where to begin. Help me out? My purse is currently a Target $10 clearance find and it needs to be replaced, too, and I can't even find a basic handbag I like, let alone something for work!

If I were looking for something similar, I would try Collected Thread in the Plaza District on NW 16th. I'm not sure what their current inventory is, but this is a bag on their website that seems like it might work for your purposes:
