I had a job interview for a kindergarten teaching position last week. The interview was with the principal and the other kindergarten teacher. We talked and asked questions back and forth for about 40 minutes. Then the principal had the other kindergarten teacher show me around the school. When I met back up with the principal, she said she still had a few more people to interview.
For those of you that have been on teaching interviews, do you think this is a good sign?

What are you looking at?
She said that she still had a few more people to interview next week but should be making a decision after that.
I've never been given a tour of the school so I wouldn't say that it was a standard interview. At least not where I'm from. I've also read a lot of people saying that they've had to teach a sample lesson. I haven't heard of anybody in the districts around me having to do that, but I guess I should prepare for that just in case! Thanks for the helpful advice!
At our school we only show candidates around that we are seriously interested in. I would say that you are one of their top choices.
Good luck!
