Quilting

I really want to start some quilting projects and am wondering anyone can tell me if this would be a good machine to get me started. Recommendations would be appreciated.

Re: Quilting

  • I really think your best bet would be to go to a store and get your hands on some.  I love my Janome New Home, but some people really don't like them.  When I was looking though, I went to a couple stores and actually did some test sewing and other hands on stuff like threading, how to clean, presser foot use, etc.
  • I'm kind of in a remote area but maybe should wait until I can do that. Thanks.

  • Oh that's an excellent little machine. I love mine. Good luck quilting, it's a lot of fun!

  • I have an older Brother I can't remember the model number that I got from Walmart for like $300 that has held up well the only thing that I don't like now that I do a fair amount of machine quilting is the small throat.
