How's everyone this Monday morning? I'm pretty tired and bored here at work! Have things to do, but don't want to do them!

Same here! I did not want to get up for work today! Plus, the girl here at work that I was closest to, her last day was Friday.. so I'm kinda sad without her. Although, I'm looking forward to this weekend. A bunch of friends have rented a boat on lake Monroe Saturday.. so that should be fun!

Today is a Monday. Thats really all I have to say ...

No really it isn't bad. DH is gone with the Military for two weeks so it's just Baby Bean and I. So we are getting along just fine. But being pregnant, working full time, and chasing a 3 year old alone, is for the birds! I'm Exhausted!

Today is my "weekend" since I worked this past Saturday and Sunday and work all day next Saturday. And I'm spending my "weekend" applying for new jobs. Job searching is really a job in itself!

Good news is I have a preliminary phone interview with a charter school on Wednesday. We'd have to move 5 hours north of here into New England, which I'm not crazy about, but desperate times... We'll see if I even make it past the first round and then decide if it'll be worth it.

I hear ya! I had no desire to get up this morning! I was up way too late last night. DH got home from work shortly after 11, and asked if I wanted to watch a movie. So I was up past 1 and up at 6!

Ditto good luck on the phone interview! And ditto sucky Monday mornings. I can not stop thinking about the wedding we went to this past weekend. Are you guys as judgy as I am when it comes to other people's weddings? Don?t get me wrong ? the ceremony was beautiful. But ... The reception was a problem. It was in this historic hotel, which was beautiful. But I don?t think they considered the size of their wedding -- there were not enough tables and chairs for all the guests. They had seating for about 175, but there were 250 there. They tried to compensate with cocktail tables, but you can?t ask your guests to eat a full meal at a cocktail table. They didn?t reserve any seats for family, including the bride?s 92-year-old grandma. Grandma had to stand until somebody brought her a chair. We weren?t quick enough to get into the reception room first, so we stood through toasts and then they said ?everybody go eat!? Nobody dismissed the group by tables, so there was a huge cluster up to the one buffet. We waited, and saw people come back with their food. On the buffet was ham steak, mashed squash and dinner rolls. That?s it. No salad, not even any veggies. It was 100 degrees that day, and the last thing I wanted to eat was salty ham and mashed squash. So it was hot up there and I was sick of standing, so we went to the hotel bar and had a drink. On our way out, we saw people eating, with plates of food on their laps, in the hotel entryway?s mini tables, and also people had brought their plates to the bar. How tacky. When we went back up for dancing, the place had cleared out a bit so we at least had somewhere to sit. That?s when I had a cupcake. OMG, so good. I think they just had their hearts set on having the reception at this old hotel, and didn?t care about food or having chairs for everybody.

Yes! I do find myself judging other people's wedding's. I'm not saying mine was the most elaborate, perfect wedding there was, because it wasn't. I know I didn't follow every single etiquette rule there is out there, but I made sure my guests were taken care of. I know my wedding wasn't very lavish, but it fit our budget, and it made us happy. Honestly, the only thing I would say we "Skimped" on, was the reception hall. We decided to have it in the fellowship hall of the church instead of some banquet hall.

Yup, Monday morning..... Why am I always so tired on Mondays???

I went up to Canada w/my boss on a business trip over Friday night, which was fun and we ended up getting on an earlier flight home so I thankfully had a little bit of Saturday left to enjoy, then was doing a handful of "weekendy" stuff yesterday (cleaning, food shopping, etc). I have so much work to catch up on this week and as of Wednesday I'm covering for a coworker so I'm going to be slammed.

Is it Friday yet???

It is definitely Monday! I did not want to get up and go to work today. Since we bought our house, my commute has gone from a 2-3 minute walk (we lived downtown and I work downtown) to a 35 minute walk, and I did not want to walk this morning. But I did it and I found a $20 bill along the way!

Now to talk myself into walking home...

Dee, Good luck!

It has been one f my most productive days in over 2 months. Plus I am in a great mood. The place is a disaster still and I have a maid service coming tomorrow to give me an estimate. I think I found a place to clean my carpets. I am so excited to get a clean home. Plus all of our bills are paid. Paying bills gives me mixed emotions. Happy they are paid but sad we have less $$ in the bank.

I have become judy of weddings after being on TK for so long. Ours was not perfect. We did not have enough finger food. Apparently people did not eat enough before coming to our wedding and 60 or so people devoured food for around 90. I guess everyone forgot it was a cake and punch reception between meal times. I do feel super bad about this and wish we would have budgeted differently if I knew how hungry everyone was going to be. We did have more then enough cake, drinks and seating.

I know it's not Monday morning any more...but it's still Monday.

We're still short staffed at work which is super annoying and we're meeting with our boss tonight to discuss a lot of the issues we're having at work so hopefully that will make a difference. Although I'm guessing it's not. But I am meeting with one of our partners for ice cream before the meeting to discuss our agenda. So that's good

I did finally call and get some appointments for estimates for our new gutters today. So that was exciting! We discovered this weekend we have a huge window leak but we were planning to replace that window anyway so I guess we will be doing that sooner rather than later
