Since it's slow, please come help me come up with some good menu suggestions for an 80s party. Thanks!
Re: 80s Party Menu
I can't think of a single 80's themed food item.
all I got is Pop Rocks...
somebody recently asked this about the 90's
I think a lot of answers will depend on how old you were...assuming you're my age, you were a kid...so I'm thinking Capri Suns, fruit snacks, california raisins
apparently cool ranch doritos debuted then, as did lean cuisines...
and I feel like a lot of things were geared towards microwaves...so popcorn and I remember micro magic hamburgers and milkshakes

All that comes to mind is Jello, Jello pudding, and Jello pudding pops.
Not really a menu item but there was a lot of fun candy in the 80's.
hahahahaahahaha
I did a little bit of googling this morning and I found this by Rachel Ray.

I love that they even show you how to "make 80's bangs"
sounds like a ton of fun!!!
Thanks!
Yeah, I can't really think of any party-type foods either. All I can think of are wine coolers and candy.
Here's a couple more Google ideas:

I am late to the party on this post but I was thinking about what I ate as a kid last night, and the first thing that comes to mind is doing a taco bar. But like yellow corn Ortega crispy shells, ground beef, diced tomatoes and iceberg lettuce (with the red taco sauce). No artisan cheeses or anything, ha!
Also I remember everyone drinking Tab.
