Hair dryer recs?

Anyone have a recommendation for good hair dryer? I'm willing to spend more than just drugstore ones but don't want to spend $200.

  • I have a conair ionic dryer from walmart...it was around 25-30 and I love it. E and I both use  it and its still going strong.

  • I have a Hot Tools dryer I got at Ulta. It is a bit nicer than my Conair was and with the coupons Ulta always has and sales, it was the same price.
  • I have one that I got from beyas.ca, it was a little under $160 so it's professional quality and it gives really good results. It's called "Karmin G3 salon pro hair dryer". Has great heating, multiple settings, cool shot and it's just a great hair dryer overall. :)

I've had several drugstore brands, and just invested in a SuperSolano. It's amazing. It dries my hair in half the time my previous dryer did (my hair is long, down to my shoulder blades) and is so quiet.I wish I would have purchased one earlier.

I got it on sale at Folica.com for around $100 with free shipping. It's worth every penny. My uncle is a hairdresser, and he swears by them. He gave my mom one 10 years ago and hers is still like new, he figures it will last her at least another 10 years. The ones in his salon all last at least 5 years with hours of use each day.

I was looking at that one. Does it feel heavy? Some reviews mentioned that. I need to find the weight somewhere. I have arthritis so I really don't want anything too heavy.

It's a little heavier than my old  Con Air, but I don't find it heavy to use.

It takes me about 8 minutes to dry my hair now, and my arm isn't sore after I finish drying my hair.
