I.am.exhausted. We grilled out at SO's parents house last night and I knew I shouldn't have stayed so late. Grrrr.
Re: Tired Tuesday Randoms
Probably going to take lunch early so I can hit up the famer's market this morning. It is already 85* here.
What are your go-to veggies from the market? I've been craving some local sweet peas but they looked yucky last week....maybe today will be better.
I went to bed kind of early, it was nice. I still had a hard time getting up though.
We made these chicken burgers last night and they were awesome. The H LOVED them.

Morning....
I have to pick up TH at work to bring his company car to repair place for a quote. After that, I'm hanging out at a friends house to take advantage of her AC. For dinner, we are going to to Pizza Hut to use the girls free personal pan pizza coupons they received from the library reading program. I'm not a fan of Pizza Hut, but I'm not cooking. Our kitchen is 90 degrees right now.
Good News - We finally bought a kitchen sink. Our is chipped, cracked and so gross looking.
Bad News - Ouch..between sink, facuet, and new disposal that was pricey.
Good News - TH is installing it this weekend, so it will be done by Allison's b-day party. And. we get to check one more room off our to-do list. We will finally be finished with the kitchen - we started 2.5 years ago.
Next project is updating our exterior. Our curb appeal needs some help. We need to repaint the shutters and paint the trim on the old windows. It looks really bad now that we have new windows on the 2nd floor of the house. I would love to get our house powered wash.
Hot is right. I'm not looking forward to working in the office today. The 5 fans barely take the edge off.
Last week at the farmer's market I picked up green beans, broccoli, potatoes and carrots. I used the carrots and potatoes last night with a roast. Tonight I have know idea what to do because of the heat. Pizza does sound tempting. I do have some Italian rosemary bread so maybe some sandwiches.
GVSU: YAY on the kitchen being so close to being done.
Well our baby boy turns 17 on Saturday. So the weekend is pretty much up to him. As of last night he was thinking dinner at Olive Garden and then use chillin at home. Nothing big or fancy he says.
I would like to make some zucchini bread but with this heat I don't dare. I might give it to my parents and have them make it. I also found a recipe to make bread in the crock pot.
Oh my gosh, now I want Pizza Hut SO BADLY.
I'm bored too here at work. Hence I am taking my time on stuff and doing things slowly. I know I have to do some filing today and I am dreading it, but I know that it has to be done. I have no idea what is for dinner tonight - maybe a panini since Mike just bought one. Dunno.
I can't eat Pizza Hut pizza because I am allergic to some in their marianara sauce.
Hmm not sure about this weekend either.
GNO!
I want to take DD to the Berlin fair at somepoint this week (when DH is working, just to give us something to do besides sit under the fans at home), but it is too stinken HOT! I would love for two straight days of steady, calm rain!
Still looking for another job....I would LOVE to just have an interview, but those are virtually impossible to get this day and age.
Oh well, I have to go to work in less than an hour, not looking forward to it.
