Quick question for those of you who use disposable diapers - do you have a 'go to' place to buy them?
We just bought two big boxes from BRU with $25 off so it came to $30 something a box. I was just wondering where people normally get theirs - do you buy them wherever they are on sale or is there a source for great pricing all the time?
I know a lot of you use cloth diapers, but I don't think that's on the cards for us - at least not any time soon.
Re: Disposable Diapers.
We were using Pampers up until about 2 months ago. We used to just buy them at BJs because we have a membership and they almost always have coupons. I found they were pretty comparably priced.
However, we switched to Target brand because Pamper's wouldn't hold my kid over night. We were using Target for just overnight for a while and figured we'd make the switch all together since they are nearly half the price. And every single box of Target diapers comes with a coupon.
We use Huggies and they are the best for us. We've tried pampers and target with no luck. BJ's brand unfortunately gave Emma a rash
We buy Huggies from Amazon using the discount with the Subscribe and Save. It's the cheapest place we've found. We get a 136 count Huggies Little Movers size 3 for $29.
I use Seventh Generation diapers so its a little more expensive than other brands but only by a couple cents per diaper so Im cool with that. I get them from Amazon through their Subscribe and Save service (with an Amazon Mom membership) so they arrive on your doorstep on a schedule and you can manually change the schedule or place an extra order whenever you want.
You get free Prime shipping and some other perks by using subscribe and save and signing up for amazon mom. The discount was better when I first signed up (30% off) but now its lower but still competitive. I think the last shipment was a case of 6 units of diapers and it was something like $36, which is better than store prices. You cant use coupons though, I dont think.
I also used to use diapers.com and I thought they were pretty competitive pricing wise, but again, no coupons. For me, using Seventh Generation, the no coupon thing doesnt matter because there are almost never coupons anyway, but if you were using a popular brand you might save a lot with the coupons.

We also get wipes from Amazon. I get most things from Amazon, we also do subscribe and save for yogurt melts, apple sauce pouches. In the past we have used it for baby food jars, formula, puffs, etc. I am lazy and it feeds my laziness. I also use target.com with my 5% discount and free shipping using my target card.
Yep - pampers through subscribe and save.

We used pampers sensitive/swaddlers (or whatever they're called) for the first few months, then switched to Target.
We also use Seventh Generation when they're on sale (there was a deal a while ago on zuility or one of those discount sites), but I don't feel they fit DS as well as Target. I have friends who hate the Target diapers, so it may depend on the kid. THey're worth checking out, though, b/c they're inexpensive.
another vote for amazon subscribe and save.
we have diapers, wipes, aquaphor, baby soap, aveeno, and even our seventh generation disinfecting wipes shipped that way.
Thanks for the suggestions - I think we'll give the Target brand a go and see how they work, and I'll check out Amazon as well.
We were thinking about joining a Costco/ BJs type store anyway so I'll check there too. With the number of diapers we're going through I want to make sure we are getting the best price for them!
We used the Pampers Sensitive Swaddlers until he was regularly on solids and his poops changed -- so maybe eight months or so. Then we switched to Target -- I found the Target couldn't contain the explosion that is breastmilk poops.
We also use Pampers overnights -- they are the only ones he doesn't leak through when sleeping. We use Amazon for everything but the Up and Ups.
We did the same thing Amy did. Swaddlers for the first few months then Target. I've tried regular Huggies and they didn't do anything for me.
If anyone is having issues with heavy overnight peeing, we have used Huggies overnights since she was probably 6-8 months old. We still use them and they're great. She leaks right out of the regular diapers overnight.
For wipes we go to Costco. I can get the box of 1120 count Huggies Naturals with no perfume added due to the kid's sensitive skin.
