I GOT A TEACHING JOB!!!!!!!!!
It took me 3 months and a total of eight interviews. My search ended with two principals in the same charter school system talking on the phone in front of me about who was going to get me!!!! I was both of their first choices. I had a choice between 1st grade and 2nd grade. I took the 2nd grade job. For the first two months it will be an hour drive, but then we are going to move closer to our jobs AND DH's family. I AM SO EXCITED!!!! I start next Wed.

YAY!!!! That is so exciting. Congratulations. And you got to pick between two! I bet that made you feel very wanted.
I overheard their whole conversation! I was estatic and wanted to cry tears of joy, but resorted to just shaking in my chair while the 2 P's talked. I can't believe it! I get my new hire paperwork tomorrow. The best part is I get to tell my boss at the childcare C-YA! I think I am going to tell her my last day will be FRIDAY!!! That's what she gets for cutting my hours, taking away my holiday pay, and hiring my replacement!
Wow Megan! I am so happy for you. I knew you could do it! I wish you lived around here so I could take you out to celebrate! You derseve a big celebration because job searching and interviewing is not an easy process!
I am still waiting.....this sucks.
Married the love of my life on 1-21-12. Our princess arrived on 5-28-13.
That will also give you time to have a mini vacation before your new job. WooHooo!
