My husband and I are going to Philadelphia this Friday as a little day trip together. We live about an hour - hour and a half away and have been to Philly several times usually to the zoo, a Flyers game, and concert. We were supposed to go to a water park on Friday but it's looking a little chilly on the forecast so we decided to scrap the idea and instead try the Reading Terminal Market. Has anyone ever been here and could give us advice on parking. We wanted to make a nice day trip of it ie. walk around the vendors, eat lunch, and buy some nice produce to take home for dinner. On their website it says to use parking garages at 12th and Filbert Garage or 11th and Arch Garage but they have a 2 hour limit. We were hoping to park somewhere and not have to worry about a time limit. Could anyone suggest better parking? Also, we don't mind a little walk if it's a few blocks away.

I'd suggest the parking garage on Spring St, it's right between 15th and 16th. ( You might have to google map it) The garage is between a big three letter pharma company and hannaman hospital. There is no time limit and the rates are fair, especially when compared to the garages close to RTM and the convention center. It's an easy 10 minute walk from there to RTM.
