Vacations
So H and I have decided that once everything is said and taken care of with MIL we would like to take a trip some where. We had a great honeymoon but we would have liked to do something bigger. Anyways we will have a little more money and we would really like to use it towards a trip.
So where are your vacation spots? Also places you would recommend to others?

Are you guys beach/city/mountain people? Do you like to sight see a lot? Are we talking US, or international? How long of a time? Need more details =]
This! I don't rememeber what you did for your honeymoon...but I must say our cruise to the caribbean was awesome, and theres totally something for everyone on it! I'll add to the questions: are you trying to plan for the next month....or for 6 months from now...because different places are good at different times of the year too...

Sorry ladies I guess that would help.
We would like somewhere warm but does not have to be a beach. We would like somewhere that has things to do close by. Length of trip anywhere from a few days to a week depending on what it is. We live in Louisiana and we want to keep it in the U.S. as we are already planning a cruise for the next year or so. We don't want this to be a HUGE trip but at least something more than just a day or 2. We are willing to drive or fly so anywhere in the U.S. is in the running.
What about Miami? We loved Miami beach, it was so chill and tons of stuff to do, either going out, or renting bikes, or just playing in the ocean or going out for cuban or mexican food. Plus theres TONS of sightseeing tours should that not be enough for you to do!
we stayed here because it was the cheapest hotel we could find in south beach, and it turned out to be gorgeous and had free happy hour and breakfast on the rooftop and right across from the beach!
