These storms passing through our area this afternoon / early evening are no joke. Just had a huge storm pass through here in Central MA), and power flickered but fortunately stayed on. Hope you all fare OK!

    Just started raining here in EG!  I hope it stops by the time I leave at 5pm!  I didn't bring an umbrella into the office with me this morning.

    we had a helluva storm come through here around 2:30 in NY. Lull but wind picking up again, just as I have to head out. Stay safe everyone!

    I'm starting to hear thunder again here. Kids are both still *amazingly* napping. They were exhausted after gymnastics today.

    It's a heck of a storm here by the airport. Dh works outside so I was worrying about him. Luckily, he just let me know he's on his way home.  Stay safe!

    We have massive branches/trees down, I saw at least 2 trees struck by lightning just in the 6 miles from here to daycare! Second round was thankfully a bust here, watch expires in 2 hours here in NY. 

    However Manhattan got nailed so DH got out of work late, and all his trains are delayed :-(

    We came out of this barely touched. I mean, it poured, and lots of thunder and lightning, but no damage on my street. My sister got hail (dont know if there's any damage from it), and my mom's without power, though.

    We made out pretty well. The southern part of the state didn't get hit as badly, so my commute home wasn't much worse than usual. Power was interrupted, but restored before I got home. Other than little branches and leaves everywhere, the only big casualty was the top half of an already dead tree. Thankfully it fell towards our house and is just laying across the front lawn. It must have been blown that direction from the wind, because it leaned down the hill towards our neighbor's fence and shed! Very grateful it fell where it did.
